Your Role & Responsibilities

• Assist customers and field personnel by providing technical support for configuring and troubleshooting installation and functionality issues related to Windchill products.
• Deliver customer-focused service by effectively understanding and addressing user concerns while leveraging knowledge of PTC products and support procedures.
• Build expertise in Windchill installation and functionality, contributing to the continuous improvement of the PTC Knowledgebase.
• Configure software, replicate issues, diagnose technical problems, and coordinate resolutions with departments like R&D and QA while keeping customers informed.
• Prioritize professional development, mentor junior team members as experience grows, and contribute valuable insights to technical support projects and functional teams.
• Develop and maintain technical training materials and documentation on relevant topics.
• Work in collaboration with global offices to ensure top-tier support for critical customers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication (E&TC), or a Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA).
• 0 to 2 years of experience with Windchill functionality/configuration (Fresh graduates welcome).
• Proficiency in Java and database management is essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic administrative knowledge of Unix/Windows.
• Fundamental networking knowledge is a plus.
• Certifications such as Oracle Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) or Oracle Certified DBA are advantageous.

• Assist with upgrade projects for PTC-hosted PLM applications on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, following guided procedures and multiple rehearsals.
• Assess existing Production and Non-Production application environments, including associated components, to outline the technical requirements for assigned upgrade projects.
• Perform end-to-end PLM upgrade tasks according to predefined technical procedures.
• Document all executed steps clearly and comprehensively.
• Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams to implement change requests essential for completing upgrade processes.
