Key Responsibilities
Operations Monitoring
- Support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order processing, and dispatch.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and analytical tools to monitor performance indicators and maintain smooth operational flow.
- Identify inefficiencies in routine activities and propose enhancements to streamline operations.
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Work with large datasets to uncover patterns, detect irregularities, and offer data-backed recommendations.
- Create comprehensive reports on key metrics such as stock accuracy, order processing efficiency, delivery timelines, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other departments to refine reporting tools and improve data transparency.
Issue Resolution & Process Improvement
- Help identify workflow issues and support the resolution of operational challenges, escalating critical problems as needed.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at refining processes by using data to recommend performance-boosting solutions.
- Engage in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity and reduce expenses.
Qualifications
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline from a recognized university or institute.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and solve problems effectively.
- Proficient in MS Excel and SQL; knowledge of visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible and capable of thriving in fast-changing work environments with multiple priorities.
- Enthusiastic about using technology to enhance supply chain and warehouse functions.
Preferred Experience
- Practical exposure through internships or academic projects related to logistics, warehousing, or data analysis will be beneficial.
