Job Description


We are seeking to hire a desktop support engineer who will be responsible for assisting our employees with computer hardware and software issues. The role requires working from the office and providing support for hardware installations, software installation/upgrades, systems integrations, and basic IT-related problems. To excel as a desktop support engineer, extensive knowledge of home and office systems, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. A top-class desktop support engineer delivers prompt and efficient assistance to clients facing basic hardware and software issues. The qualifications for this position include a bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology, advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals, familiarity with popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems, ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software problems, willingness to travel and work after hours if necessary, outstanding interpersonal skills, and effective written and verbal communication abilities. This is an entry-level position, and immediate joiners are preferred. The work will be conducted from the office.

Job Description:

  1. Responding to client support requests.
  2. Contacting clients to determine the nature of the problem.
  3. Traveling to the client’s location or establishing a remote connection.
  4. Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  5. Installing and maintaining computer hardware and peripherals.
  6. Installing and upgrading operating systems and software.
  7. Troubleshooting networking and connectivity problems.
  8. Providing recommendations for software or hardware upgrades.
  9. Offering basic training in computer operation and management.
