- Oversee merchant and transaction activities to detect potential risks or fraudulent behavior, taking immediate action when necessary.
- Address transaction-related queries and resolve discrepancies, especially in cases of customer disputes.
- Collaborate with partner banks and law enforcement agencies like the Cybercell to manage chargebacks and disputes, ensuring prompt recovery to minimize financial losses.
- Communicate with merchants and customers to address their concerns and provide solutions effectively.
- Propose innovative ideas to improve processes, mitigate risks, and reduce monetary losses.
Skills and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Open to freshers; familiarity with customer support platforms or CRM tools like Freshdesk is advantageous.
- Understanding of chargeback processes, including stages, penalties at arbitration, technical chargebacks, and Visa/Mastercard guidelines, as well as fraud-related reason codes.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable attitude for phone and email interactions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional listening skills to understand, anticipate, and resolve queries from stakeholders.
- High attention to detail with outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities to identify irregularities or suspicious activities.
