Job Description
RedHat – Software Engineering Trainee
Role Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable IT infrastructure to support build, release, and testing processes.
- Configure, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance to boost operational efficiency.
- Work closely with development teams to optimize build and release workflows.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in IT infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, Makefiles, or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- (Preferred) Experience with C/C++, compilers, static/dynamic code analysis, or distributed storage technology.
- (Preferred) Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Highly motivated with a proactive approach to learning.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with teams across different locations.
