Job Description
- Description of Sandvine:
- Sandvine operates world-class networks with Active Network Intelligence.
- Utilizes machine learning analytics and closed-loop automation to identify and adapt network behavior in real-time.
- Offers an automated platform from a single vendor, providing deeper insights into network data for faster decision-making.
- Test Engineering Team Responsibilities:
- Involvement in the “build-measure-learn” cycle with a startup attitude.
- Qualifying sophisticated wire line and wireless network entities/solutions.
- Designing, developing test strategies, and maintaining various software on high-performance systems.
- Exposure to diverse technologies and methodologies.
- Required Skills:
- BE or ME degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python/C/C++.
- Expertise in networking concepts (L2, L3, L4) and network management protocols (SNMP, XML, NMS, EMS).
- Familiarity with scripting (shell, TCL), database technologies, Linux system configuration, OpenStack, Virtual Machines, Network Functions Virtualization, and Software Defined Networking.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Motivated self-starter with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Installing/testing/verifying multiple components of a product to ensure readiness for release.
- Developing and maintaining test plans and cases for features under test.
- Executing tests, meeting schedule commitments, and providing quality test status reports.
- Reviewing project documentation for product testability.
- Submitting accurate defect reports and assisting in defect investigation and resolution.
- Configuring and troubleshooting integrated solutions under test.
- Developing test cases for functionality, performance, stress, and fault conditions.
- Assisting in project risk analysis, testing scope, and scheduling.
- Automating test cases within an established framework.
- Identifying required test coverage and evaluating customer feedback for improvement.
