Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and provide support for Audio-Video technology in meeting room spaces.
- Govern AV equipment and ensure proper functioning.
- Test and resolve equipment issues, including troubleshooting and adjustments.
- Operate audio recording equipment.
- Perform electronic equipment repair when needed.
- Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and connect wires and cables.
- Set up video and audio equipment for live events, ensuring optimal auditory and visual experiences for the audience.
- Install, test, and adjust equipment before all events, with continuous troubleshooting and adjustments as necessary.
- Facilitate IT support to end-users for Requests, Incidents, and Changes using the ServiceNow ITSM system.
- Possess a good understanding of the infrastructure setup of MS TEAMS, MS Office, and Skype.
- Collaborate with local and global CIS operations teams to provide IT infrastructure support for networking, virtualization, and end-user computing.
- Assist with client hardware lifecycle replacement in accordance with global client standards.
- Perform daily administration activities for all IT infrastructure, including analyzing, installing, modifying operating systems, storage, applications, backups, and account administration.
- Support and troubleshoot hardware, operating systems, systems management software, security and AV software, patch management, productivity applications, and virtualized environments.
- Develop comprehensive step-by-step documentation for system support tasks.
- Manage IT inventory effectively.
- Participate in a 24×7 on-call rotation as required.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, preferably IT.
- Either a fresher or with 2 years of experience in managing and troubleshooting IT infrastructure (server, storage, virtualization, networking, and end-user computing).
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills for operating systems (Windows, Linux), VMware, and networking.
- Exposure to MS Skype/Teams voice solution is an added advantage.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Proactive, self-directed, detail-oriented, independent worker with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for continuous learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a globally dispersed team.
- Familiarity with ITSM processes, systems, and tools such as ServiceNow.
- ITIL certification.
