Job Description
About the role – responsibilities include:
- Developing Machine Learning models for defects detection and defect pattern classification using images sourced from equipment.
- Providing feedback to equipment for the removal of defective parts based on inference results.
- Using classification results for root cause analysis.
- Collaborating with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to create solutions utilizing machine learning methods.
- Integrating the inference pipeline with the factory system to enable live inferencing.
- Hosting inferencing in either the Data Center or at the Edge (near or on equipment).
You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact at Seagate by:
- Designing, building, tuning, and deploying machine learning models.
- Uncovering opportunities to reduce operational costs and improve product quality.
About you:
- Highly passionate about data science and eager to apply AI/machine learning/deep learning techniques to solve real-world problems.
- Self-motivated, independent, and a team player with strong analytical skills.
Your experience includes:
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Familiarity with AI machine learning techniques, frameworks, and libraries.
