The primary objective of this role is to ensure the attainment of disbursement targets while maintaining a low delinquency rate. Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying suitable Joint Liability Groups (JLGs) and disbursing loans that cater to the needs of target customers and specific geographic regions.
- Fostering business growth by overseeing the development and management of teams within assigned territories, thereby achieving deeper market penetration and expanding our reach.
- Evaluating the potential client base and assessing the acceptability of our products in new regions, identifying opportunities for geographical expansion.
- Efficiently managing disbursements, repayments, and delinquencies to meet daily and weekly collections targets.
- Vigilantly monitoring disbursed loans, particularly those experiencing delays in payment.
- Conducting regular field visits, participating in Centre Meetings, and engaging with loan applicants.
- Maintaining the quality of our portfolio by closely tracking and controlling normal dues, nonstarters, delinquencies, and fraudulent activities.
- Establishing strong relationships with clients, both internally and externally, to solidify our brand’s reputation and resonate with potential customers.
- Ensuring consistent weekly and daily meetings, as well as frequent visits to centers.
- This role is open to individuals with up to 5 years of experience as a sales officer in the microfinance sector, including freshers. A fundamental understanding of Microfinance business and the functioning of the JLG model is preferred.
