Job Requirements
The job requirements for this position include proficiency in Java and a good understanding of its ecosystems.
Candidates must have a sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) patterns and concepts, as well as familiarity with different design and architectural patterns.
Additionally, candidates must possess the skill for writing reusable Java libraries and have knowledge of Java concurrency patterns. Basic understanding of the concepts of MVC (Model-View-Controller) pattern, JDBC (Java Database Connectivity), and RESTful web services is also required.
Candidates must have experience in working with popular web application frameworks such as Play and Spark, and relevant knowledge of Java GUI frameworks like Swing, SWT, AWT according to project requirements.
Additionally, they must be able to write clean, readable Java code, have a basic knowhow of class loading mechanism in Java, and experience in handling external and embedded databases.
Understanding basic design principles behind a scalable application is also a must-have skill for this position.
