What We’ll Bring:

The position entails serving as a QA Consultant within one of the core teams of specialists responsible for assessing the functionality of both new and existing features within TransUnion’s Billing Platform.

The Quality Assurance Consultant is a versatile professional capable of engaging in various roles related to the health and performance of TransUnion’s software applications. As an essential member of one of our agile development teams, you will be entrusted with the responsibility and autonomy to thoroughly test and validate systems, driving TransUnion forward.

What You’ll Bring:

• Collaborate closely with Scrum team members to clarify requirements, ensure testability, and offer feedback on both functional and technical design aspects.
• Contribute to impact assessments, evaluating the effects of feature enhancements on system-level interactions and existing automated test suites.
• Engage in in-sprint Test Design, Test planning, Test automation development, and Test execution.
• Conduct comprehensive Testing, employing robust Exploratory Testing methods to uncover vulnerabilities in test strategies.
• Create automated tests designed for high availability and scalability in applications.
• Recognize opportunities for reusability and implement test automation libraries effectively.
• Provide valuable test consultation to Scrum team members, assisting in the creation of robust Unit Test suites.
• Uphold accountability for the quality of your work and that of the entire development team.
• Document defects and offer recommendations for their resolution.
• Execute performance and scalability testing.
• Take on development responsibilities, including code review and bug analysis, assessing development and test impacts, crafting test tools, and identifying automation possibilities.
• Contribute to enhancing unit testing coverage, designing test frameworks, developing test suites, expanding automated testing capabilities, and automating various scenarios and test cases.
• Assist in creating technical specifications for IT development and the formulation and execution of detailed test plans to validate system changes in alignment with functional and quality assurance requirements.
