Unisys Off Campus Hiring 2025 – Associate Engineer
Key Expectations for Success in This Role:
Contest Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with the Program Manager to coordinate and oversee the end-to-end execution of the Unisys Innovation Program (UIP), including key events like the NASSCOM Tech Series, Crusader Connect, Hackathon, and more. Responsibilities encompass managing the Unisys Innovation Portal, assigning abstracts to mentors, overseeing the mentoring and evaluation stages, and ensuring compliance with timelines, SLAs, schedules, and deliverables outlined in the UIP Playbook and SOPs. The ultimate goal is to successfully host the Grand Finale, tentatively planned for May 2025.
- Foster effective communication between mentors and student teams to ensure a constructive and enriching learning journey throughout UIP Y16.
- Support the Program Manager in stakeholder engagement, including those involved in associated events such as the NASSCOM Tech Series, ensuring smooth coordination across all aspects.
Mentorship, Evaluation, and Event Management:
- Assist the Program Manager in managing the mentorship process and evaluation rounds to ensure successful completion.
- Contribute to the seamless organization and execution of the Tech Confluence and Grand Finale events, scheduled for May 2025.
Qualifications and Skills for Success:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Prior experience in organizing and managing projects, programs, technical contests, or similar initiatives is highly desirable.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with students, mentors, and corporate stakeholders.
- Awareness of emerging technology trends, including areas such as AI, IoT (Connected World), Immersive Experiences, and Quantum Computing.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.
- Proficiency in documentation and familiarity with tools like Advanced Excel, SharePoint, and data analysis platforms such as Power BI.
