Walmart extends an invitation to female students graduating in 2024 and 2025 to participate in CodeHers, India’s largest coding challenge exclusively designed for women. CodeHers serves as your gateway to joining Walmart Global Tech India and contributing to innovations for the world’s leading Fortune #1 company. Since 2002, our approach has been human-led and tech-empowered, resulting in the creation of omnichannel shopping experiences worldwide, aimed at helping customers save money and live better.

This challenge presents an exciting opportunity for young women from engineering colleges across India to secure their dream job. Exceptional coders will be shortlisted and virtually interviewed for full-time software development engineering roles and summer internships at Walmart Global Tech India, with positions based in the Bangalore or Chennai offices.

Eligibility Criteria:

CodeHers 2024 is open to female students from all engineering colleges in India pursuing degrees in circuit branches (ECE, EE, EEE, IT, CS):

• BE/B.Tech. full-time programs – Batch of 2024 and 2025 (1st and 2nd-year students are ineligible).
• Dual degree full-time program – Batch of 2024 and 2025 (1st/2nd/3rd-year students are ineligible).
• ME/M.Tech. full-time programs – Batch of 2024 and 2025 (2025 graduating batch considered for summer internships this year).
• Applicants must have a 7+ CGPA to be eligible; those below this threshold will be disqualified.
• The use of multiple IDs for participation will result in elimination from further processes.

Competition Structure:

• Level 1: MCQ Challenge – A test of computer fundamentals with 25 objective questions to be solved in 25 minutes.
• Level 2: Coding Challenge – Shortlisted participants will have 90 minutes to present logical coding solutions to 2 problem statements.
• Level 3: Candidates with non-zero scores in both the Quiz and Coding Challenge will be considered for the shortlist of the next phase. Top coders will be informed about the interview process via email.

Result Declaration Process:

• Two questions of 100 marks each, with equal weightage for private and public test cases.
• A thorough sanity check will ensure fair evaluation, and any participant found using unfair means will be eliminated.
• The evaluation process will be true and fair, with checks to ensure score accuracy.

Rewards:

• Top 15 students from each graduating batch (2024 and 2025) will receive a cash prize of ₹30,000.
• Summer Internships Opportunities 2024 (May – June): Top Coders from the 2025 graduating batch will be offered direct summer internship opportunities at Walmart Global Tech India, with a monthly stipend of ₹1-1.1 lakh, plus additional perks.
• Software Engineering Full-Time Opportunities 2024: Top Coders from the 2024 graduating batch will be contacted for Pre Placement Interviews against relevant opportunities, with salaries in the range of ₹18-21 lakhs, joining bonus, stock grants, and additional perks.

Participation certificates will not be provided for this opportunity.

Note: Interviews will be conducted in descending order of scores until all open positions for the 2024 batch are filled, and some students may not be interviewed based on open positions.
