Job Description
Walmart is seeking candidates for the position of Software Engineer – iOS!
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Design, create, and maintain high-performance and scalable iOS applications for Walmart’s supply chain management and customer experience domains.
- Implement applications using standard iPhone/iPad UI components and develop custom UI.
- Apply expertise in iPhone SDK, SQLite Database, XML-JSON Parsing, and Location services to enhance application functionality.
- Identify and resolve performance and availability issues within the applications.
- Develop, maintain, and improve automated test cases and deployment procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
- Advanced proficiency in iOS development utilizing Objective C, Swift, and RxSwift.
- In-depth knowledge of iPhone SDK, SQLite Database, XML-JSON Parsing, Location services, offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated object-oriented development expertise.
- A commitment to continuous learning to stay abreast of emerging technologies.
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
- Familiarity with the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
