Job Description

Zycus is seeking a Trainee Software Engineer for their Cloud Operations division. This role will be an integral part of our Cloud Infrastructure team, with responsibilities encompassing Systems Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering. Your primary duties will revolve around Application Performance monitoring, making you the go-to expert for middleware administration and scaling. This role specializes in resolving intricate production issues within distributed systems, multi-tenant services, and large-scale infrastructures.

As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will oversee the management, monitoring, and upkeep of infrastructure, applications, and services hosted on cloud platforms. This position amalgamates proficiency in cloud technologies, system administration, and DevOps methodologies to ensure the seamless operation, scalability, and dependability of cloud-based environments.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain deployment pipelines employing tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Automate provisioning, scaling, and resource management to facilitate continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure smooth code deployments and releases.
• Implement monitoring and incident management systems to swiftly detect and respond to performance anomalies, security breaches, and other incidents.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, in close cooperation with cross-functional teams, to mitigate potential risks and enhance system reliability.

Job Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: BE – IT/CS students graduating in 2024 are encouraged to apply.

• In-depth knowledge of Cloud computing.
• Strong analytical aptitude.
• Extensive familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD Pipeline management.
