Job Description
Essential Job Functions
- Conducts regular analyses of voice/data network requirements, collecting information and providing assistance for integration and installations to ensure efficient customer network architectures.
- Assists in testing and documenting current hardware and software network technology baselines to determine networking needs.
- Supports the development of technical standards and interface applications, investigating issues, gathering information, and recommending potential solutions.
- Acts as a technical resource for internal teams, ensuring consistent knowledge of network architectures.
- Generates reports and monitors system utilization to facilitate short-term information technology investment decisions related to voice/data network solutions.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Zero or more years of experience in voice or data networks.
- Proficiency in working with network systems and networking principles and practices.
- Familiarity with networking software and hardware.
