Job Summary
Medpace is experiencing rapid growth and currently seeks full-time Junior Software QA Test Engineers (Validation Engineers) to join our expanding Information Technology (IT) team at our Mumbai office.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with developers and end users throughout the software life cycle to ensure applications meet user needs.
Conduct testing using various methodologies, including manual, exploratory, and automated testing. Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and related documentation for projects.
Participate in constructive peer reviews of test cases. Identify and report software defects and inconsistencies.
Review, analyze, and enhance requirement specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Support the execution of acceptance test scripts by end users.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience in writing and executing manual tests for complex software applications; experience in automated testing is advantageous.
Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within cross-departmental teams comprising software developers, department leads, and end users. Strong computer skills.
Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills. Experience in the regulated healthcare industry is a bonus.

Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document user requirements.
- Design, modify, develop, and provide support for software applications.
- Participate in software validation processes by developing, reviewing, and executing test plans, cases, and scripts.
- Create software applications following the software development life cycle, encompassing requirements gathering, design, development, testing, release, and maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding projects, development progress, tools, and procedures.
- Apply skills in various development areas such as object-oriented programming (C#), databases (SQL), and web applications (ASP.NET).
- Opportunity for potential leadership in software development projects.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
- Preferably possess experience with technologies like C#, Angular, Webservices, GraphQL, Git, and relational databases.
- Advantageous to have experience in Entity Framework and Azure DevOps.
- Understand the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software release management.
- Previous experience in transitioning systems to a cloud-based platform (Azure) is a bonus.
