Essential Functions
- Develops software solutions across multiple subsystems within our applications, involving collaboration with requirements definition, prototyping, architectural design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Gains a comprehensive understanding of how our applications operate, their structure, and customer usage.
- Conducts research on emerging technology and development tools to stay abreast of current trends.
- Documents and illustrates solutions through the creation of documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments, and code that is easy to read.
- Analyzes defects, conducts root cause analysis, and collaborates on resolution.
- Adheres to established internal quality systems and integrates standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements into coding activities.
- Undertakes any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills Required for Success
- Proficient in clear and effective verbal and written communication.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
- Sound knowledge of scripting and object-oriented software development principles.
- Functional familiarity with relational and/or non-relational databases.
- Strong development skills and a comprehensive understanding of software development methodologies.
- Proficiency in refactoring or re-engineering solutions.
- Thorough understanding of design principles and patterns.
- Solid grasp of Agile software development methodologies.
Required Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 0-2 years of experience with the software development life cycle, software testing methodologies, and quality assurance.
- Familiarity with C, C++, and OOPS Concepts, as well as Multi-tiered application design and development, RDBMS design (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.), HTML/DHTML, and JavaScript.
Preferred Experience & Education
- Knowledge of medical devices or healthcare software.
- Familiarity with .NET-ASP, C#, VB.net.
