Job Description

We are actively seeking a reliable recent graduate in engineering to become a valued member of our team. This fresh engineering graduate will assume responsibility for executing assigned tasks, providing support on projects, engaging in research endeavors, and composing comprehensive reports. Duties will encompass the study of systems flow, data utilization, and workflow processes, all while adhering to the agile software development lifecycle.
Highlights of the program entail an initial 2-month bootcamp (requiring 30-40 hours per week, commencing in Q3 2023). By the conclusion of this bootcamp, participants will have gained valuable insights into Avaloq’s corporate culture and operations, refined their technical prowess, and commenced the expansion of their professional network. Throughout the bootcamp, ample resources and opportunities will be furnished to facilitate familiarity with our Technology & Products division, as well as the functioning of various systems and applications.
Following the successful completion of the bootcamp, participants will transition to the subsequent phase of their career journey: a 10-month on-the-job training period under the guidance of seasoned mentors. During this period, individuals will be immersed in an environment conducive to honing their creativity and problem-solving acumen. Upon the successful culmination of the on-the-job training, participants will secure a permanent role within the company.
As integral members of the Graduate Trainee Program, participants will have the unique prospect of collaborating across diverse divisions and business sectors. This collaboration not only augments visibility within the organization but also encompasses a dedicated array of training courses aimed at enriching knowledge and expertise.
We are currently in pursuit of a dedicated and adept Software Engineer, ready to join our cohesive team. This role involves close collaboration with international colleagues and partners, including technology vendors and infrastructure providers, as well as collaboration with the software development division to deliver unparalleled services. Continuous engagement in technical and procedural enhancements, encompassing both incremental and transformative approaches, is a pivotal aspect of this position.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10+2+3/10+2+4/ 10+2+3+3/ 10+2+3+2 years of full-time education.
- Graduated in the 2022 or 2023 batch with a degree in BSc/BE/B.Tech, specializing in CSC/CSE/IT/ECE/EEE/EIE/E&E/Applied Electronics/Computer and Technology/Electrical/ETE/ICE/Software Engineering/MCA/MSc (limited to full-time or regular courses).
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Attained first-class scores (minimum 60%) in 10th, 12th, UG, and PG studies (exclusive to full-time/regular courses).
- No pending backlogs in current educational pursuits.
- A maximum education gap of 2 years is permissible.
- Freshers will be given preference.
Additional merits will be accorded to candidates who possess:
- Profound understanding of PL/SQL and Oracle fundamentals.
- Strong aptitude for analysis, problem-solving, abstract reasoning, and mathematics.
