Job Description
Ericsson is currently seeking Automation Engineers for an open position!
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an advanced data ecosystem to facilitate the generation of valuable data-driven business insights.
- Extract and analyze relevant data from various sources.
- Utilize machine learning tools to choose features and construct and enhance classifiers.
- Conduct preprocessing of both structured and unstructured data.
- Propose effective solutions and strategies to address business challenges.
- Collaborate closely with both Business and IT teams.
- Enhance data collection procedures to include information crucial for building analytical systems.
- Process, clean, and validate the integrity of data intended for analysis.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and present findings clearly.
Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferable.
- Demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming using Python.
- Knowledge of statistical programming languages like R, Python, and database query languages like SQL, Hive, and Pig is a plus.
- Strong familiarity with machine learning techniques and algorithms, including k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, and more.
- Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, Weka, NumPy, MatLab, and similar tools.
- Practical experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB and Cassandra.
- Hands-on familiarity with data science tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a sound understanding of business concepts.
