Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) is currently recruiting for the position of Machine Learning Ops Manager.
Candidate Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the MLOps Sr Manager to transition models into the production environment upon completion of development and testing. Coordinate with the Data Science CoE to establish model maintenance guidelines and a monitoring framework for the handover of model ownership from the Data Science CoE to Solution Factory DevOps. Monitor and oversee models in production, including tasks such as retraining, monitoring model quality, data, and model drifting. Plan and execute model optimization and CI/CD automation tasks for the team. Govern incident management and routine MLOps activities. Provide regular quality reports to senior management. Manage Data Science solution DevOps requests in collaboration with the Engagement Team to deliver maintenance/minor enhancements as needed. Coordinate and collaborate with the Data Science CoE to execute significant model maintenance/enhancement work.
Requirements:
Comprehensive knowledge of advanced analytics models and lifecycle management. Familiarity with Azure Machine Learning, Databricks (especially experiment tracking, MLFlow, and integration between MLFlow and Azure Machine Learning Services). Proficiency in common data science algorithms and libraries (Spark MLlib, Scikit Learn, etc.). Solid understanding of code lifecycle management and CI/CD practices, particularly in GitHub and Azure DevOps. Strong skills in operation and service management. Extensive experience in project and team management. Machine Learning qualification. Knowledge of container technology, specifically Docker, ACS, Kubernetes. Python and PySpark coding experience. Expertise in deep learning tools and techniques. Strong Design Thinking/Agility and innovation mindset, demonstrating intellectual curiosity and a constant desire for development, openness to change, and a sense of urgency. Personal drive and the ability to inspire and engage others towards action. Emotional resilience and a commitment to consistently delivering one’s best. Credible business acumen, demonstrating an understanding of business, commercials, and performance metrics, with the ability to effectively influence senior stakeholders within a functional and business context.
