Job Description:
Execute test plans and test cases, generate test data, and communicate results in a prompt, transparent, and concise manner.
Demonstrate understanding of the project/product functionality and adapt to evolving requirements and documentation.
Proactively identify gaps in test cases and explore beyond them to uncover potential issues/bugs.
Thoroughly test product changes through established processes.
Display agility and responsiveness to shifting project priorities, promptly adjusting testing strategies as needed.
Conduct root cause analyses for bugs/issues.
Roles and Responsibilities:
This encompasses, but is not restricted to:
Adhere to predefined SOPs, standard test methods, and/or processes.
Execute test cases for small, uncomplicated components and/or features associated with apps, services, or devices, ensuring they function as intended. Achieve daily productivity and quality goals. Document bugs/failures related to test instruction execution and/or quality mechanisms. Monitor bug resolution in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
Contribute ideas for project improvement to streamline daily routines where applicable.
Impact the quality of assigned components and features.
Acquire knowledge from peers, on-the-job training, and provided content from the Device and Quality team (e.g., SharePoint, Wiki, etc.).
Basic Qualifications:
Education Qualification: BE, BTech, Master of Computer Applications (MCA), BSc in Computers, BCA, MSc in Information Technology (IT).
Work Experience: Limited or no prior experience required.
Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills (both written and spoken) in the English language.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrate problem-solving analytical skills and testing acumen.
Possess excellent attention to detail, working with the highest level of accuracy.
Have a good understanding of the Windows desktop environment and proficiency in using Word, Excel, IE, Firefox, etc.
Exhibit flexibility and interest in performing repetitive tasks.
Show a sense of ownership, drive, and a willingness to tackle daily challenges within deadlines.
Additional Information:
Domestic Relocation Not Provided.
Shifts: Primarily 8 AM to 5 PM (subject to change based on business requirements).
Weekly Off: Saturday and Sunday (subject to change based on business requirements).
