Job Description – Business Analytics Analyst
Citi Group Off Campus Hiring – KYC Operations Analyst 1
The KYC Operations Analyst 1 is an entry-level role focused on supporting Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, oversight, and regulatory reporting activities in collaboration with the Compliance and Control team. The primary goal of this position is to help develop and manage an internal KYC (Know Your Client) program at Citi.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Relationship Management and Compliance teams to assist with the creation, development, due diligence, and approval of the electronic Know Your Client (KYC) records and supporting documents.
- Gather information from internal and external sources (e.g., firm website, regulatory websites) to create and maintain KYC records.
- Work with Relationship Management and Compliance teams to update system information throughout the KYC record process and report workflow progress to a supervisor.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of information within KYC records and Customer Identification Program (CIP) documents.
- Ensure that KYC records meet local regulatory requirements and Global Business Support Unit (BSU) Standards.
- Maintain the BSU tool.
- Evaluate risks when making business decisions, prioritizing the firm’s reputation, and protecting Citigroup, its clients, and assets. This includes complying with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, following policy guidelines, exercising sound ethical judgment, and transparently managing and reporting control issues.
