Job Responsibilities
This role is responsible for ensuring product quality by analyzing and testing the codebase, using automation and repeatable testing solutions to increase code quality and consistency.
The job involves developing and maintaining automated code to validate front-end, middleware, and database systems using the latest programming languages and tools.
Collaborating with software engineers, the successful candidate will write efficient automation code using coding standards and best practices.
The role requires executing automated code and reporting the results to the team and repairing simple broken automation scripts.
The individual will work with moderate guidance in their area of knowledge.
Core Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of this position are to write and edit automated test code, ensuring repeatable and reliable testing solutions for software products that comply with specifications and technical requirements.
The candidate will maintain the automation codebase in a version control system, such as GIT or SVN. They will also analyze broken test cases, diagnose and repair them to working order, execute automated test scripts, and evaluate results.
Additionally, the role requires exercising independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance, maintaining regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, and being able to work nights and weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary.
