Diebold Nixdorf – Associate Service Desk Representative
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming customer calls and convert queries received through various support channels into service tickets.
- Verify whether reported issues are covered under an active contract and ensure all customer details, including address information, are accurate. If no contract applies, obtain customer approval for applicable charges.
- Interact with customers to gain a clear understanding of reported problems and provide step-by-step assistance using predefined solution guides and knowledge base resources to resolve issues such as password resets or software setup.
- Utilize remote support tools to investigate, diagnose, and fix technical concerns.
- Escalate unresolved incidents in line with defined escalation procedures and clearly communicate next actions to the customer.
- Track and manage assigned tasks through the Universal Work Queue (UWQ), updating tickets for changes such as cancellations or additional inputs.
- Notify the manager or the designated Incident Resolution Management (IRM) team in cases of customer escalations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions and update relevant knowledge repositories, reporting tools, and systems.
- Consistently deliver a high standard of customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Relevant education or equivalent professional experience.
- 0–2 years of experience in a Service Desk or technical support role, or an equivalent mix of education and hands-on experience.
- Strong communication skills in the local/client language and business-level proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
