Job Title: Associate Engineer – Mechanical

Role Overview: As an Associate Engineer, you will contribute to product and technology teams with responsibilities that include design, development, testing, and sustaining engineering. You will study and modify existing designs as needed, build knowledge on products and technologies, and evaluate systemic improvements and maintenance. You’ll be expected to plan your activities to meet project timelines and deliverables, working on various projects at Eaton India Innovation Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake engineering tasks, gaining an understanding of products, technologies, and project specifications.
• Apply DFSS concepts, DFMEA, Risk Management, and DVPR for both new product development and improvements to existing products.
• Conduct prototype builds, performance and durability testing, and teardown analyses to assess product performance against customer requirements, from concept through to detailed design before product launch.
• Develop and maintain design standards, procedures, and documentation control processes for the business group.
• Enhance your understanding of manufacturing processes to optimize new and existing designs.
• Maintain effective communication with external customers, providing technical clarifications, conducting testing, and resolving field failures.
• Exhibit learning agility to absorb and integrate knowledge of diverse technologies and products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 0-1 Years of experience

Skills:

• Preferred experience in CAD and design, particularly with Creo and Solidworks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
