Position Title:
Graduate Engineer Trainee
Reporting To:
Vice President / General Manager – Sales, Engineering, or Projects
Primary Objective:
The Graduate Engineer Trainee is expected to possess strong communication abilities and the capability to execute assigned work plans in close collaboration with their reporting manager. Tasks must be carried out with accuracy, followed by systematic progress updates. Each completed activity should be reported promptly to the mentor or reporting authority.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Understanding of mechanical concepts and basic process technology
- Exposure to order handling in the plant or process engineering sector is advantageous
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Analytical and solution-driven mindset
- Flexible and adaptable in dynamic environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
Key Responsibilities:
- Support senior engineers across sales, engineering, and project functions
- Assist in proposal preparation, process design, and project implementation
- Work on data sheets, project documentation, procurement updates, dispatch scheduling, and project-related calculations
- Gradually take ownership of tasks while ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Participate in site visits to production facilities and client locations as part of project learning and execution
