Job Description

Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be accountable for overseeing various supply chain processes, such as inventory analysis, order fulfillment, import/export operations, and shipping for a country or regional business unit.

They will execute their duties with minimal supervision while applying discretion and judgment. They will also compile key metrics, produce reports, and analyze data using IT systems for demand and supply matching activities.

Additionally, they will analyze backlog management and collect demand data from the region and country for demand planning purposes.

They will assess the current business process for the global and regional planning teams and regularly review performance metrics, identifying areas that need improvement.

Education and Experience Required:

Candidates should have a first-level university degree or equivalent experience. They should have 0-2 years of experience in a supply chain function.

Knowledge and Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of supply chain processes, including planning, sourcing, making, and delivering.

They should demonstrate strong analytical skills and have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and the local language.

Good interpersonal skills are also essential. They should have basic Microsoft Office skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Furthermore, they should have a fundamental understanding of project management methodology and be developing their business acumen and technical knowledge within their area of responsibility.

They should be familiar with HP’s overall supply chain strategy, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and Available to Promise (ATP) concepts. Additionally, they should have a basic understanding of import/export regulatory requirements and compliance and inventory analysis.
