Job Description
KPMG currently has an open position for a Digital Trust Cyber Defense Analyst.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Identify and address vulnerabilities in software, applications, and infrastructure to enhance the organization’s cybersecurity stance.
- Stay informed about emerging threats, analyze Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) and malware, and integrate findings into security assessments.
- Document security testing processes, relay findings to stakeholders, and collaborate on vulnerability remediation efforts.
- Provide training and education to team members on the latest cybersecurity techniques and procedures to bolster the firm’s overall skill set.
- Develop proposals, cultivate client relationships, and oversee large-scale cybersecurity programs to ensure commercial success.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field is mandatory.
- Proficient understanding of penetration testing methodologies, OWASP vulnerabilities, and diverse security technologies.
- Familiarity with tools such as Burpsuite, Metasploit, and Kali Linux, coupled with experience in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), and secure code review.
- Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud security aspects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to meticulously document findings, collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and conduct informative training sessions.
- Capable of identifying business opportunities, adeptly managing client relationships, and leading large-scale cybersecurity projects proficiently.
