Job Description

The primary responsibility of the team is to assist new domestic vendors throughout the onboarding process. This involves creating company profiles, documenting negotiated business terms to draft contracts, obtaining signatures from relevant stakeholders, and ensuring that Lowe’s core systems have accurate and current information for specific projects. The team also provides support for events related to vendor onboarding. On a daily basis, the team manages tasks such as setting up new items, overseeing their life cycle, including handling discontinued items, reviewing and correcting data, changing item types, and maintaining accurate information about items on lowes.com.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Synchronize and coordinate with internal and external business teams to fully onboard and maintain products at Lowe’s.
  • Provide thought leadership regarding minimum viable product attribution to optimize product information, fostering consumer confidence in making buying decisions.
  • Manage communication between suppliers and merchants regarding product information and item lifecycle maintenance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to support initiatives for the growth of the online business, including process improvement and automation efforts.
  • Execute all formal item lifecycle processes and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with the appropriate teams to resolve issues related to vendor onboarding, item onboarding, maintenance, and cleanup activities.
  • Support the implementation of new processes to enhance Lowe’s ability to maintain the library of items.
  • Understand the merchandising process related to item status changes, inventory availability, and fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with an offshore team to execute all activities related to onboarding and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot issues and take ownership of their resolution.
