Novartis Off Campus Hiring – Intern Trainee Engineer
About the Role
Primary Responsibilities:
- Possess a solid understanding of engineering concepts and demonstrate proficiency in using software tools like MS Office and Excel for documentation and reporting activities.
- Engage in review meetings with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors; contribute to optimizing review processes and propose innovative solutions to process challenges.
- Assist in preparing project tasks, compiling tender documentation on time, analyzing technical bids, and developing technical proposals in compliance with legal standards, internal quality benchmarks, and HSE guidelines. Carry out additional duties as delegated by the supervisor or based on specific role assignments.
- Manage the creation of purchase orders and procurement of equipment using SAP/ESHOP systems.
- Maintain and update electronic records and databases, such as SharePoint.
- Ensure standardization and quality of process documentation; act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for operational matters involving external service providers, including onboarding, role changes, and replacements.
- Support the Training & Learning department in identifying required training for external personnel to help them gain necessary qualifications.
- Oversee and monitor the training assignments for external colleagues, ensuring regular follow-ups and consistency in learning progress.
- Distribute updated production documents to relevant external staff for educational purposes and lead knowledge transfer initiatives, including on-the-job training (OJT) when needed. Ensure external services are delivered as per the agreed KPIs.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align on project scopes, with a focus on GMP compliance, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate to ensure timely and complete delivery of project milestones.
