Role Objective

To ensure the highest quality of our software products through a combination of manual and automated testing methods, leveraging strong communication and logical reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

Test Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to grasp product requirements and define suitable test scenarios.

Test Development and Execution:

  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
  • Execute manual test cases and analyze outcomes.
  • Set up, maintain, and operate test automation frameworks.
  • Identify and report software defects using a bug tracking system; collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Clearly report defects and testing outcomes to developers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality integration throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Facilitate and participate in QA reviews and updates to maintain consistency and standards compliance.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, scripts, and outcomes.
  • Generate regular reports on test status, anomalies, risks, and validation results.

Staying Updated:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and technologies in QA testing.
  • Participate in training and workshops to enhance QA skills continually.

Requirements

  1. 0-2 years of experience in a similar role within a software services environment.
  2. Proficiency in manual testing techniques: black box, white box, and gray box testing.
  3. Experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, etc.
  7. Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  8. Knowledge of common application/web security and OWASP vulnerabilities.
  9. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
