Job Description

Sony Recruitment 2024 – Data Science Intern

Work Location:

Remote work within India.

Duration of the Paid Internship:

This paid internship spans 6 months, commencing in the first week of August 2024. Working hours are from 9:00 IST to 18:00 IST, Monday through Friday.

Education:

A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience is required.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with research scientists and team members on innovative research projects related to causal recommendation systems.
• Identify patterns and analyze complex data sets.
• Develop, code, and test innovative algorithms.
• Review and implement findings from state-of-the-art research papers.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in Python 3.x.
• In-depth understanding and experience in Deep Learning and Transformers.
• Extensive experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Git.
• Proven research experience with the ability to quickly comprehend and implement research findings.

Good to Have Skills:

• Knowledge and experience in causal inference and different types of neural networks.
• Previous work experience with recommendation systems.
• Ability to conduct literature reviews and synthesize research ideas efficiently.
