SOTI Off Campus Hiring – Junior Software Developer
Responsibilities
- Participate in the full software development life cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
- Identify, report, investigate, and resolve product defects.
- Assist team members and stakeholders with the execution of implementation plans and the development of roadmaps.
- Enhance technical skills through on-the-job training and external courses.
- Implement and optimize best practices.
- Ensure high-quality standards for code, technical documentation, and deliverables.
- Write well-designed, scalable, reliable, testable, and reusable code using best software development practices, clean code principles, and SOLID principles.
- Keep abreast of advanced technologies to provide optimal solutions for new projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and proficiency in C++, C# .NET, or Java.
- Good knowledge of data modeling and relational databases, preferably SQL.
- Experience with front-end and back-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, NodeJS, REST APIs, and JSON.
- Experience or a keen interest in agile methodologies like Scrum/XP, Behavior-Driven Development, and Continuous Delivery.
