SOTI Off Campus Hiring – Junior Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
• Identify, report, investigate, and resolve product defects.
• Assist team members and stakeholders with the execution of implementation plans and the development of roadmaps.
• Enhance technical skills through on-the-job training and external courses.
• Implement and optimize best practices.
• Ensure high-quality standards for code, technical documentation, and deliverables.
• Write well-designed, scalable, reliable, testable, and reusable code using best software development practices, clean code principles, and SOLID principles.
• Keep abreast of advanced technologies to provide optimal solutions for new projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and proficiency in C++, C# .NET, or Java.
• Good knowledge of data modeling and relational databases, preferably SQL.
• Experience with front-end and back-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, NodeJS, REST APIs, and JSON.
• Experience or a keen interest in agile methodologies like Scrum/XP, Behavior-Driven Development, and Continuous Delivery.
