Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking candidates in the final year of B.E. / B. Tech (Fire & Safety) to join our team.

As part of our Renewables, Generation, and T&D Cluster, you will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety and compliance with legal requirements.

This includes identifying and controlling workplace hazards, conducting risk assessments, and implementing risk mitigation plans related to fire and safety.

You will also engage and influence employees and contractors, coach individuals on safety, and conduct plant/work site inspections and audits.

Additional responsibilities include managing key performance indicators, designing and conducting health, safety, and firefighting training, and analyzing performance trends to drive actions to improve safety.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and control workplace hazards & ensure legal requirements for health and safety are maintained
  • Understand TSHMS principles, conduct risk assessments, and implement risk mitigation plans related to fire and safety
  • Engage and influence employees/contractors and coach individuals on safety
  • Implement CSCC
  • Conduct site audits to verify hazard identification and control measures
  • Share best practices and drive team towards implementation
  • Coordinate and conduct plant/work site inspections and audits
  • Encourage team in 5S implementation and participate in improvement drives
  • Check fire detection and protection system readiness
  • Design and conduct health, safety, and firefighting training
  • Maintain MIS records relating to training, safety observations, audits, inspection, accidents, occurrences, near misses, etc.
  • Organize theme-based safety drives/campaigns/competitions/contests
  • Follow up with action owners to ensure completion of audit findings, safety observations, and CAPA
  • Coordinate and conduct HSE induction and training
  • Analyze performance trends and provide routine feedback to improve safety
  • Ensure adherence to PPE and other safety requirements
  • Manage key performance indicators (KPI) and drive necessary efforts to achieve them

Salary and Benefits:

The position offers a CTC of INR 6.64 Lakhs per annum, plus benefits such as subsidized basic hostel/company-provided accommodation, medical facilities, insurances (including Group Medical Coverage Insurance (GMC), Group Term Life Insurance (GTLI), and Group Personal Accident Insurance (GPA)), and more. The selection process includes an online written test covering aptitude and technical knowledge.
