Thermo Fisher Scientific Off Campus Hiring – Data Science Analyst

This role serves as a crucial link between the Data Science team and various operational departments, translating data-driven recommendations into actionable insights to drive revenue growth. You will be pivotal in validating and communicating the effectiveness of these insights.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Data Science team to understand their models, methodologies, and the rationale behind specific recommendations.
• Simplify complex data science findings into clear, actionable insights for different departments.
• Develop strategies to test and validate the effectiveness of data science recommendations.
• Create presentations, training materials, and communication strategies to educate and empower departments on utilizing data science insights.
• Facilitate feedback loops between departments and the Data Science team, ensuring continuous improvement of recommendations based on real-world application.
• Develop clear and impactful data visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
• Track and report the impact of data science recommendations on performance metrics such as conversion rates and revenue.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Analytics, Statistics, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in a sales environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of data analysis principles and statistical concepts.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Ability to convert complex data science concepts into clear, actionable insights.
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is advantageous.
• Proficiency in data manipulation tools (e.g., SQL) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
