Job Description
Upstox Off Campus hiring – Application Security – Intern
Position: Intern – Application Security Duration: 6 Months
Responsibilities:
- Create, enhance, and sustain tools and web applications aimed at automating security processes and boosting security protocols across the organization.
- Integrate security automation tools and methods into the CI/CD pipeline to facilitate ongoing security assessments and ensure compliance.
- Analyze source code to identify possible security vulnerabilities.
- Develop proof-of-concepts/exploits for discovered vulnerabilities and collaborate with the engineering team to resolve them.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, or NodeJs.
- Experience in developing security tools.
- Solid understanding of web application security risks, exploits, and preventative measures (including SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, platform hardening, etc.).
- Capability to learn and participate in application security-related tasks.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to persuade and influence others without having direct managerial control.
