Description – RTI International Recruitment 2024 – Finance & Grants Assistant
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in accountancy, finance, business administration (specializing in finance), or a related field, or equivalent with 1 year of experience; or a bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, or accountancy with 3 years of experience.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting finance tasks for a USAID-funded project of similar size and complexity is advantageous.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience supporting a Grants Manager in grants-related work is desirable.
- Results-oriented and focused, with the ability to adhere to guidelines and controls required for the position.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and MS Excel.
- Competence with accounting software (preferably QuickBooks), as well as Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Proven team player with effective cross-cultural interpersonal skills; capable of fostering a common vision among diverse partners and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong verbal and written English fluency, coupled with excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
