Position Summary:
Bentley Systems is seeking a talented Associate Software Engineer. In this role, you will:
- Be part of an international team influencing infrastructure development.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with a mentor for daily tasks.
- Complete assigned tasks with high quality.
- Write unit tests.
- Develop software engineering skills.
- Understand and address pull request (PR) comments.
- Review others’ PRs to learn and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in an agile, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) development process.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
- 0-2 years of experience with a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering.
- Problem-solving skills with guidance from seniors.
- Good communication skills to explain problems and ask relevant questions.
- Knowledge of computer science, algorithms, and data structures.
- Understanding of computer graphics and transformations.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Proficiency in one of the tech stacks: .NET/C++, or TypeScript/Node.js.
- Understanding of unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Basic debugging skills.
- Basic knowledge of database concepts (SQL/NoSQL).
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms.
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in Mathematics, especially Geometry.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum).
- Familiarity with web development frameworks like React.
- Experience with DevOps.
- Understanding of design patterns, SOLID, and DRY principles.
- Knowledge of Git – Distributed Version Control System (DCVS).
