Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Creating and Developing Automation Scripts: As an Automation Engineer, you will be tasked with creating and developing automation scripts to streamline testing processes.
- Running Automated Tests: You will execute automated test scripts for various applications, including both web-based and desktop software.
- Identifying Automation Opportunities: You’ll be responsible for recognizing areas within the software development process that can be automated and implementing appropriate tools, frameworks, and code.
- Reviewing Testing Procedures and Requirements: It will be essential to review and understand testing requirements and processes to ensure the product meets quality standards.
- Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): You will collaborate with SMEs, including non-technical team members, to identify areas for process improvement through automation.
- Enhancing Product Quality: Your goal will be to enhance the product’s overall quality through automated testing and continuous improvements.
- Identifying Bugs and Documenting Issues: You will identify defects and document them using Azure DevOps (ADO) to track and resolve quality issues.
What You Bring to the Team:
