Description

Essential Functions

• Develop software solutions across various subsystems within our applications. This includes collaborating on requirements definition, prototyping, architectural design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Gain a deep understanding of our applications’ operations, structure, and customer usage.
• Research new technologies and development tools to stay current with industry trends.
• Create documentation and demonstrate solutions through developing flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments, and clearly readable code.
• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate on resolutions.
• Adhere to established internal quality systems, incorporating standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements in coding activities.
• Perform all other assigned duties and responsibilities.

Skills Needed for Success

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
• Solid knowledge of scripting and object-oriented software development principles.
• Functional understanding of relational and/or non-relational databases.
• Proficient development skills with a comprehensive understanding of software development methodologies.

Required Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of experience with the software development life cycle, software testing methodologies, and quality assurance.
• Familiarity with C, C++, and OOP concepts, multi-tiered application design and development, RDBMS design (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.), HTML/DHTML, and JavaScript.

Preferred Experience & Education

• Knowledge of medical devices or healthcare software.
• Familiarity with .NET-ASP, C#, VB.net.
