Role Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to analyze data and translate it into actionable insights (such as reports, dashboards, interactive visualizations, etc.) that can contribute to enhancing business operations and informing strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical aspects of the project in accordance with the specified requirements throughout all stages.
• Collect data from diverse sources including data warehouses, databases, and data integration systems, and interpret patterns and trends within the data.
• Develop and implement processes and policies for efficient record management.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients at all organizational levels to understand their needs effectively.
• Provide sales data, proposals, data insights, and account reviews to clients.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance automation.
• Establish and manage automated data processes.
• Assess, select, and integrate external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing.
• Generate and monitor key performance indicators to track progress.

Data Engineering:

• Develop, design, and maintain data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), leveraging technologies like Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
• Collaborate with various teams to comprehend data requirements and deploy scalable solutions.

Model Design:

• Work closely with business stakeholders and analysts to devise and implement data models for efficient data representation and analysis.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory compliance within the healthcare domain.

Google Cloud Platform:

• Utilize GCP services to construct robust and scalable data solutions.
• Implement and enhance BigQuery tables and queries for streamlined data retrieval and analysis.

SQL & Azure Proficiency:

• Craft intricate SQL queries for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from diverse sources (such as Azure Blob, Azure SQL, flat files, and semi-structured sources) into the data warehouse.
• Optimize SQL queries to enhance performance and efficiency.

Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW):

• Contribute to the architecture and development of the enterprise data warehouse.
• Implement best practices for data storage, retrieval, and security within the EDW framework.

Healthcare Domain Expertise:

• Apply specialized knowledge to ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and standards.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in healthcare data management.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business units, analysts, and software engineers, to deliver cohesive data solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to team members.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Demonstrated experience as a GCP & Azure Data Engineer within a healthcare environment.
3. Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages.
4. Thorough understanding of GCP services, encompassing Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and Composer. Familiarity with Azure services is an advantage.
5. Experience in data modeling, SQL, and EDW design.
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
7. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
