Job Description


Job Title: Customer Success Engineer Apprentice

Role Overview:

  • Provide technical assistance to field engineers, technicians, and product support staff involved in diagnosing and resolving issues with Network Security Products.
  • Address complex technical issues that standard product support could not resolve.
  • Report design flaws, reliability issues, and maintenance bugs to design engineering or software engineering teams.
  • Offer specialized support to customers dealing with highly technical or sophisticated products.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Investigate customer-reported incidents, collect necessary data, collaborate with colleagues as needed, and see issues through to resolution.
  • Evaluate and determine the impact, severity, and urgency of problems.
  • Guide customers on utilizing products effectively by answering specific questions to enhance their experience.
  • Collaborate with customer technical teams to optimize product utilization.
  • Participate in critical customer escalation calls, providing clear technical explanations appropriate to the audience’s technical proficiency.
  • Deliver technical solutions promptly and with a focus on quality.
  • Achieve exceptional results in key performance metrics like Customer Satisfaction (CSAT), Resolution Time, and Response Time.
  • Engage with internal teams to enhance overall customer experience.
  • Manage customer expectations through regular and timely communications.
  • Assist customers in implementing workarounds and solutions.
  • Identify data needs and assist in data collection as required.
  • Provide after-hours support for scheduled customer escalations.
  • Conduct remote sessions with customers when necessary.
  • Create Knowledge Base (KB) articles and social media communications.
