Cognizant Off Campus Hiring – Programmer Analyst Trainee
Qualification:
- Science or Engineering graduate
Responsibilities:
- Requirement Analysis:
- Understand the functional aspects of clients’ requirements.
- Efficient Task Execution:
- Raise clarifications, issues, or concerns regarding work output to the lead promptly.
- Adhere strictly to schedule and timelines.
- Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with team members and supervisors.
- Follow organization policies and procedures.
- Participate in project and organizational initiatives led by Delivery leadership.
- Ensure tasks are appropriately classified and prioritized.
- Comply with defined processes during task execution.
- Provide periodic updates on task progress as required.
- Documentation:
- Assist in creating documentation for client-specific applications and project processes.
- Generate application-specific reports such as SLA KPI reports and performance metrics (e.g., number of transactions processed per day).
- Participation in Calls/Status Reporting:
- Participate actively in daily standup calls and weekly meetings.
- Contribute to the creation of weekly and monthly reports for clients.
- Learning/Training:
- Acquire knowledge of quality processes and project practices from various sources.
- Review project-specific documents and attend bootcamps to understand client application suites, technology stacks, and processes/tools like Quality Center and JIRA.
- Engage in Knowledge Transition sessions within the project to gain proficiency in project-level knowledge.
- Complete required domain/technical/project-related training and certifications.
