  • Product Development Knowledge: Familiarity with the product development process.
  • Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to learn about electrical and electronic testing tools and technologies.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills.
  • Systems Engineering: Understanding of systems engineering and the importance of validation in development.
  • Programming and Debugging: Proficiency in programming, logical thinking, and CAN communications for testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
  • Connectivity and Infrastructure: Knowledge of connectivity, cloud, and network infrastructure to interact with vehicles, components, and mobile devices.
  • Over-the-Air Updates: Experience in testing and verifying over-the-air updates to ensure seamless updates and continuous operation.

Responsibilities

  • Design Verification Testing: Conduct electrical and software component/system design verification testing for upcoming model products.
  • Test Fixture Development: Collaborate with shop floor personnel on test fixture development, instrumentation, and testing requirements.
  • Program Support: Assist the program team in achieving testing targets and milestones.
  • Engineering Collaboration: Work with engineering teams to ensure the use of appropriate testing methods and components.
  • Cross-Functional Team Participation: Engage in cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
  • Connectivity Testing: Support connectivity testing on vehicles, breadboards, hardware-in-the-loop (HiL), or subsystem rigs.
  • Software and Configuration Loading: Load software and vehicle configurations onto breadboards or vehicles.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Must have a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent, with a preference for electrical engineering or electronics engineering.
