Mercedes-Benz – iOS Developer Role:
Responsibilities:
- Develop solutions impacting over 8 million Mercedes-Benz customers, enhancing connected car functions.
- Construct resilient and scalable cloud solutions using best practices and advanced cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with Daimler’s delivery hubs to create cutting-edge in-car experiences.
- Take ownership of end-to-end delivery and advocate for a “You build it you run it” culture.
Requirements:
- Proficient in iOS SDK (Objective-C and Swift) and XCode.
- Competency in the latest iOS technology stack for UI development, including Auto Layout and Storyboards.
- Extensive knowledge of Multithreading and Concurrency programming using GCD or Operation-Queues.
- Experience in reactive programming in iOS with RxSwift.
- Familiarity with basic iOS frameworks (Foundation, AV Foundation, Network Extension).
- Expertise in design patterns like MVVM, VIPER, MVP, etc.
- Knowledge of dependency managers such as CocoaPods, SPM, or Carthage.
- Strong in integrating with back-end systems through web services (XML/JSON Parsing, SOAP, and frameworks like Alamofire).
- Database knowledge, including SQLite (FMDB or GRDB).
- Proficiency in Data Structures, Algorithms, threads, and Memory Management.
- Proven track record in iOS app development with at least two apps published in the App Store (provide app store links).
