Roles & Responsibilities

• Responds to and prioritizes incoming requests for technical support via telephone, email, and chat channels related to hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies.

• Identifies problems, conducts research, and provides resolutions to customers, following up with them as necessary, and escalating complex cases to the appropriate team.

• Documents and tracks calls in the problem management database, maintaining records of the history and related problem documentation.

• Generates standard statistical reports, such as help desk incident reports.

• Collaborates with programmers to explain software errors or recommend changes to programs.

• May evaluate software and hardware to assess ease of use and determine if it can aid users in performing work.

• Performs any additional duties assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

In order to be eligible for and proficiently execute this job, the candidate must be capable of fulfilling each essential duty and responsibility to a satisfactory level. The following requirements are indicative of the necessary knowledge, skills and/or abilities:

•0-2 years of experience in a technical support capacity

•Adeptness in Microsoft Office suite

•Experience with Salesforce is desirable

•Previous familiarity with CRM is an advantage

•Meticulous attention to detail and effective time management

•Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

•Robust customer service and conflict resolution proficiencies

•Capable of handling a high volume of work and multiple projects amid frequent interruptions and changes in schedule

•Associate’s degree or corresponding work experience.
