Job Description

The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) currently has an opening for the Data Analyst- X Delivery role.

Candidate Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with consulting teams to address a diverse array of advanced analytics subjects.
  • Work with case teams to comprehend requirements, specify, plan, create, implement, offer support for analytic solutions catering to client needs.
  • Offer technical assistance by deeply comprehending pertinent data analytics solutions and processes, aiming to construct efficient, top-quality analytic solutions.
  • Cultivate in-depth expertise in at least one analytics specialization and a broad comprehension of all analytics capabilities.
  • Articulate and elucidate projected analytics outcomes, also defining the chosen approach.
  • Present innovative analysis and insights to case teams, often taking ownership of an analytics module, and seamlessly integrating with case teams.
  • Establish credibility by thoughtfully collaborating with case teams on analytics matters, deducing conclusions on various external and internal topics related to their module.
  • Skillfully convey analytical insights by adeptly amalgamating and presenting results, encompassing PPT slides and charts, to consultants.
  • Collect, synthesize, and analyze case team learnings and inputs to devise novel best practices and methodologies.
  • Assure proper authorization before uploading materials to the internal repository for future reference, while also ensuring sensitive client information is appropriately sanitized in marketing documents.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fields related to Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferable.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of pertinent industry experience, providing analytical solutions in a corporate environment.
  • Previous involvement in a global corporation, preferably within the realm of professional services, holding a data analytics role.
