Job overview
The aim of this opportunity is to offer an enriching learning experience for interns to gain a comprehensive understanding of the technicalities and professionalism involved in various phases of a Software Engineering project.
This includes the process of Requirement Gathering, Production Deployment, and Post-Production Support Phases.
Additionally, interns can provide their unique insights and recommendations on improving the process from the perspective of a student as an end-user or a team-member.
Job Responsibilities
The Intern will have various responsibilities, including:
- Gathering, analyzing, designing, and developing requirements: This includes collecting requirements from clients and conducting feasibility analyses and system appreciations. The intern will design a solution based on these requirements and systems, and create both high-level and detailed-level design documents. They will also research and suggest appropriate technology stacks for development, develop code using relevant software tools and technologies, and unit-test the code. Finally, they will prepare a list of artifacts required for deployment to higher level environments.
- Testing, deployment, and post-production support: The intern will review artifacts that will be deployed on the test environment and develop a test plan that incorporates test scenarios and cases. They will conduct integration testing and generate a test execution report, which they will review. They will set performance benchmarks and evaluate the solution against these benchmarks, and then coordinate deployment to production. The intern will also learn how the production system is monitored and how to handle post-production issues.
Overall, the intern will gain valuable experience in the full software development life cycle, from gathering requirements to post-production support.
Education and Experience
BE, B.Tech, BCA, BSc in Computer Science is Preferred.
