Trainee Role – Chennai (2025)
Overview:
The trainee will be responsible for configuring and testing Wipro’s proprietary Total Benefit Administration (TBA) System in line with client requirements. This includes using internal tools and platforms to set up and adjust system parameters and tables as per the specifications derived during analysis.
Designation: Trainee
Eligibility:
- B.E / B.Tech / MCA graduates (2024 or 2025 pass outs only)
- Mandatory service agreement: 12 months
- Work timings: 5:30 PM – 3:00 AM (9.5-hour shift)
- Technical interview mode: Face-to-face (at Wipro Chennai office)
Required Technical Skills:
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Mainframe concepts, and SAS.
- Proficiency in writing and executing simple to moderately complex SQL queries.
- Familiarity with relational database concepts such as tables, keys, and queries (SQL/DB2).
- Basic knowledge of automation testing methods (exposure preferred).
- Awareness of software quality assurance standards and system testing practices.
- Strong analytical ability to break down complex issues into manageable parts and establish logical connections between them.
Communication & Professional Competencies:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with active listening ability.
- Able to share information clearly and concisely.
- Good awareness of organizational objectives and alignment with them.
- Demonstrates accountability and ownership of assigned work.
- Self-driven, motivated, and collaborative team player.
