Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
The role involves working independently within a standardized protocol to address customer issues. In addition to the outlined process, moderate judgment may be exercised.
The candidate must be capable of resolving moderate technical issues related to hardware and software, arising from customer queries and proactive notification systems.
The candidate should be able to answer queries related to services, products, technical specifications, and customer relations.
This includes current and discontinued products, parts, and options, based on customer entitlement such as warranties provided by the enterprise.
The candidate is expected to take proactive measures to prevent or reduce problems for customers. Furthermore, the candidate will participate in projects aimed at process or quality improvements.
The Supervisor or Team Lead will periodically review the candidate’s work.
Education & Expertise
Required Education and Experience:
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically, candidates must have 1-3 years of general experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and college-level education.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
The following skills and knowledge are necessary for this role:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role, whether remote or in-person.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office, CAD, Adobe Suite, and programming.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Accurate data entry abilities.
- Exceptional fluency in the language to be supported.
- Prior experience in a phone-based remote role, e-support, e-chat, or a similar position.
- Familiarity with computer technology.
- Knowledgeable in call routing and case management processes, as well as case logging and obligation systems.
- Understanding of internal processes and tools.
- Knowledge of Knowledge Management Systems and appropriate documentation to the system.
